The Amazing Chickpea was founded by Sunil Kumar in 2016. When Sunil heard from his oldest daughter, who loves peanut butter, that she could not share her PB&J's with her friends, he decided to take action. Sunil then began working on creating a company that sells healthier peanut-free products, but with outstanding taste. Sunil also wanted to help provide parents with peanut-free butters and other products that their children could eat safely at school during lunch.
Sunil then started to sell his products at local Twin Cities farmers markets, with the help from his good friend Raymond. He was happy with how people reacted to his products. Over the years The Amazing Chickpea has grown in size, and has launched a diverse amount of products. The Amazing Chickpea now sells large amounts of products to schools across the country, as well as to places in Canada. A lot of customers also purchase products online, and have them shipped directly to their homes. However, the mission of The Amazing Chickpea stays the same. To always provide healthier peanut-free products.
